Overall, I found it endearing, familiar and, in some ways, even innovative. Although it has been around since the late 1980s, the cruise arm of the behemoth Mediterranean Shipping Company has only been wooing the North American market for just shy of a decade. For those ages 15 to 17, the Teen Club offers events and tech-friendly amenities. There are other places you can go within the ship to grab a small bite to eat if you’d like also to get a drink at the same time.

Rooms are also designed so you can't turn the lights on without inserting your keycard into a slot by the door. On other ships, you can game the system by inserting another card (credit card, membership card, driver's license), but, unfortunately, that trick doesn't work on MSC Seashore. As with its Seaside-class counterparts, one of MSC Seashore's biggest highlights is its sweeping four-deck atrium, which serves as one of the ship's main hubs of activity. Chrome and colored lights give it a hip feel, but the vibe also oozes sophistication, courtesy of a transparent, backlit staircase inlaid with thousands of Swarovski crystals. There’s lots to do for kids on this ship and, in fact, this ship boasts the most kids-specific space out of all the MSC Cruises ships.

The sublime sculpture Danza del Mare was created for the MSC Foundation in partnership with Venini, one of the world’s most esteemed glassmakers in the world which this year celebrates its 100 Anniversary. Tradition and modernity go hand in hand in this stylish sushi restaurant. This charming venue offers deliciously authentic Asian cuisine prepared on the spot with only the freshest, highest quality ingredients. Tradition and modernity go hand in hand in this stylish teppanyaki restaurant and sushi restaurant. At nearly 25,000-aquare-feet, the contemporary MSC Aurea Spa on MSC Seashore offers a wide selection of Balinese massages and other wellness and beauty treatments to revitalize your body and soul with relaxation, well-being, and pampering.
Services and Wi-Fi on MSC Seashore
The bar offers up a standard menu of drinks, as well as excellent coffee and cocoa. Any of the nearby tables is perfect for sipping your beverage while people-watching. The ship has eleven eateries - three main restaurants, a dedicated Aurea restaurant and the Yacht Club restaurant, a 1,169 seater buffet - and five specialty restaurants including the Butcher’s Cut, Ocean Cay fish restaurant, HOLA! MSC Seashore measures in at a gross tonnage of 169,400 and a length of 339 meters, with 20 total decks (including 15 for guests).
Attend a Deck Party
MSC Seashore has fairly reasonably priced drinks for a cruise ship, with many cocktails coming in at less than $9. The Premium drink package, which is included when you book in the Yacht Club, includes all drinks at any bar or restaurant on the ship, with the exception of Hola! Among the cruise liner's complimentary amenities are also the 24-hour room service and supervised youth program, shipwide WiFI Internet access, laundry service. Follows the complete list of MSC Seashore lounges, clubs, and other entertainment venues for kids, teens, and adults. New dining options on MSC Seashore include the Fusion Restaurant (specialty) and VIP Fine Dining Restaurant.

However, in certain instances, I felt like the line implemented technology for technology's sake, rather than to enhance the passenger experience. Appearances from Doremi (pronounced "doh ray mee"), the line's mascot, are common for younger children, who can also enjoy building with blocks, playing games and conducting science experiments. Activities for older kids include foosball competitions and video games.
MSC Seashore is considered one of MSC Cruises’s best ships to date, with state-of-the-art tech features, improved restaurants, lots of public and outdoor space and some of the biggest kids spaces in the cruise line’s fleet to date. There are also hot tubs scattered throughout the ship, for more than a dozen total (including two infinity hot tubs!). Additionally, sundecks are plentiful, with lots of loungers and daybeds. If you’re staying in an Aurea suite or a MSC Yacht Club suite, you’ll get access to better and more sundecks. The premium option offers much roomier than interior staterooms on other ships, these options include full bar areas, big beds, sitting areas, spacious bathrooms, and lots of storage. It is connected with the aquapark with a Pirates Cove theme to create an extensive water area.

Hotels
This popular area has been enlarged and now includes an additional deck over and around the space, providing new areas for guests to sit and relax. It is just a short walk to the newly located buffet on deck 16 for a lunchtime snack - perfect for families who enjoy spending time by the pool. MSC Seashore features new cabins designed to suit all your needs during your holiday. Choose among 11 different types of cabins and suites with balconies including the coveted aft suits, 50 terraced suites with extended balconies and 32 different suites with outdoor private whirlpools. And get to know an unparalleled accommodation experience at the 2 new palatial Owner’s Suites at the largest and most luxurious MSC Yacht Club. MSC Seashore features new staterooms designed to suit all your needs during your cruise vacation.
This area is adults-only and there are chic sunbeds within the water with perfect aft views (this also draws selfie-takers). With MSC Seashore, the line made the decision to have several pools around the ship, as opposed to one larger one. It works, at least on our sailing, as people did spread out around the ship, making the pool decks feel less crowded. MSC Seashore has a casino, centered in its own mini atrium that has a 13-foot-high Statue of Liberty at the bar.
That means you can't walk up to a bay and piggyback on someone else's ride unless you feel like a rousing game of deck roulette. If you walk into an open car before making a floor selection, you'll be at the mercy of wherever the car is headed next. It also means you can't change your mind about where you want to go after you've entered the car (unless someone else is already going there and selected that deck number before getting inside).
The high-tech theater lounge is the venue for the evening Broadway-style production shows with compelling entertainment based on professional performers and top-notch media equipment. Passengers can also enjoy ship's 5D Cinema, VR Maze, Rafting simulator, Formula 1 simulator (virtual-reality racing cars). The boat has 19 decks, of which 12 are passenger-accessible and 11 with cabins. By annual passenger shipping volumes, MSC is ranked the world's 3rd largest cruise shipowner - following only Carnival Corporation and RCG-Royal Caribbean Group. The main purpose of making muster drills digital was to eliminate the need for large numbers of people to gather in proximity for the duration of the drill.
As I mentioned before, the only way to charge devices in your cabin when you're not there (without leaving your keycard behind) is to use Hamlet — a wireless charger built into the desk in each stateroom. It's a thoughtful touch, but it took hours for my phone to charge that way. It also won't work for anyone who has an older device that doesn't support wireless charging. Further, when you're in the room and trying to charge multiple devices, some of the plugs are positioned in a way that makes it impossible to charge them side by side.
Even then, they weren't able to link my credit card with my onboard account and told me I'd have to do it after I boarded. I headed to the front desk, only to be told that I needed to use one of several kiosks throughout the ship. I found one nearby and was able to link my card painlessly, but after running into so many other snags with the check-in process, it felt like one more hurdle to clear. The fitness center, which is one of the largest I've ever seen on a ship, is outfitted with Technogym equipment that includes weight machines, medicine balls, circuit training equipment and cardio machines. My absolute favorite spots on the whole ship are the Venchi 1878 Chocolate Bar and the Central Park lounge area near it.
This means it can hold nearly 6,000 passengers and more than 1,600 crew members, with more than 2,000 staterooms and suites. The kids club offers a range of different spaces for kids ages 3 to 11, with activities to fit a range of interests. From video games to movies, arts and crafts to cooking competitions, the ways to play are near-endless. MSC Seashore is not only larger with the biggest Yacht Club of MSC cruise ships in the U.S., it's the only Seaside EVO class ship out there. Other Seaside-class ships, such as MSC Seaview, have many of the same features and a distinctive "Miami condo" look to them on the back of the ship, just smaller. • Our ships offer the possibility of combining 2 or 3 connecting cabins based on the ship class.
The ship is the first cruise ship on the planet to feature a state-of-the-art air sanitation system called “Safe Air,” which is capable of removing nearly 100% of viruses and bacteria from the ship’s environment. A relatively new cruise ship constructed by Fincantieri at the popular Monfalcone shipyard in Italy, MSC Seashore is a member of MSC Cruises’s Seaside EVO class, and the first of its kind, with sister ship MSC Seascape following a year later. Here's everything you need to know about the MSC Seashore cruise ship, part of the Seaside EVO class, with an overview and things to do. MSC Divina is a Fantasia-class ship, and while it carries fewer passengers than MSC Seashore, with 4,345 guests, the layout can make it feel a little more cramped.
The Yacht Club has its own panoramic hot tub at the front of the ship. The Long Island Pool is what you'd consider the "main pool." There's a big screen out here for movies and to broadcast bingo, and this is also where deck parties, dance lessons and belly flop contests are held. MSC Seashore does have deck parties every night, each with a different theme. There's a White Party every cruise, so come prepared if you want to participate. Other themes could be Country Night, Flower Glory (which focused on the 70s, not the 60s) and Gatsby Night. The Madison Theater is the main venue and there's a show here almost every night.
